The Paralympic athlete of F.C. Barcelona won again this weekend his title of champion of Spain in the long jump (5,82), while he was runner-up in the 100 meters in the National which was held this weekend in San Javier, Murcia.

With the new success, Xavi Porras has 34 national titles which make him an emblem of the Spanish Paralympic of Athletics.

The blind athlete from Olot gives with these victories a big leap of fath in his preparation for the big event of the year, the World Championship to be held in Doha next October, the first major stop of the 'XP Project, towards Rio 2016' that this year has started with the support of the platform Crowfunding, "Sponsor them" and his sponsors Manxa, Powergym, La Finestra Sul Cielo, JPS English School and Meikin.

"I am very satisfied. After the operation which has marked my start to the season, this weekend has been a great step forward because my feelings are getting better. I know I have to improve the results, although the circunstances of my preparation and thinking that the world championship wil be in October, everything goes as planned", said Xavi Porras.
