The athlete of FC Barcelona celebrated his return to competitions after the operation he underwent earlier this year with the victory in the long jump at the Control of Segovia and his participation in the 100 meters. The best news was that he wasn't affected by his injury.

Xavi Porras, now in his tenth season at FC Barcelona, finished first in the long jump with a mark of 5.80 meters and third in the 100 meter race with a time of 12.23 seconds.

His next meeting will be within 15 days, in the Championship of Spain which takes place in the city of San Javier in Murcia, and where Xavi will try to get new first positions to increase his record with the intention of getting more medals at the World Championships in Doha next October.

The start of the season was also a great day for Barça who lived in the Spanish city the fifth Champions.
